Chicago — Control Engineering and Plant Engineering are proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 Engineering Leaders Under 40 award. This annual program recognizes outstanding professionals 40 or younger whose work is accelerating progress in automation, controls, energy, infrastructure and beyond. Individual profiles of the honorees are available at https://www.controleng.com/leaders-under-40 or https://www.plantengineering.com/leaders-under-40.
Nominees were submitted by themselves, peers or mentors and evaluated by judges who look at leadership skills, personal integrity and technical skills, among other things. The October print and digital editions of Control Engineering and Plant Engineering showcase each honoree, spotlighting their recent projects, industry impact and the qualities that set them apart. Nominees must have control and/or plant engineering products or systems purchase or specification responsibilities from among 12 key areas.
“The 2025 class of Engineering Leaders Under 40 honorees continues to raise the bar for excellence in these fields,” said Amara Rozgus, Editor-in-Chief of Plant Engineering. “Now in its 35th year, the program remains a powerful reflection of the top emerging talent shaping our industry’s future.”
