Find out what engineering marketers are planning

In the next few weeks we’ll be sending you an invitation to participate in the 2015 engineering marketers survey.  Before we do, you have a unique opportunity to add your ideas to the questions we ask.

How big will your marketing budget be compared to last year?

Pie_chart

Let’s say you are shooting for more budget for a special project.  Would it help your pitch to the CMO to know that other engineering marketers are planning a similar campaign?  If so, this is your chance to find out.

Here are the questions we asked last year:

  • How big will your marketing budget be compared to last year?
  • Which campaigns will you conduct next year (list of different types of campaigns)
  • How much content will you create next year by type (Blogs, videos, case studies, webinars, etc.)
  • What are your top marketing priorities for next year? (branding, top of funnel leads, MQLs, Pipeline)
  • What will be your biggest marketing challenges next year?
  • Is marketing becoming more important in your company relative to sales?

So, which questions should we keep?  Which ones should we ditch?  And what other questions do you want us to ask?

Let me know in the comments or via email to jhayes@engineering.com.

Thanks,

John
